The big sign above the entrance read “Welcome to Beehive Park”. I could smell the strong aroma of the flowers surrounding the sign. The bees were buzzing and the butterflies were fluttering around the flowers. The sun was beaming down and I could hear laughter and cheers all around me. Its was sparkling like millions of diamonds under the sunlight. I saw three little boys nearby playing with their electronic boats, they had wide smiles on their faces. They’re boats engines made a roar sound that frightened the ducks, making them quack and flap about. I walked on and noticed that the trees shaded some of my path from the sun. As the sun shone through, the leaves formed a pattern on the ground.
Sweet and fresh air in park areas is simply remarkable. The enchanting smell of lovely flowers spread the atmosphere. In other places in Dhaka city, air is polluted in high rates by dust, coupled with smoke and fumes released from the vehicles. Clean and fresh air in the park is pleasing and unique. We can breathe clean air and our lungs feel fresher.
One of my favorite things to do before starting my day is to take a jog in the local park. My mind will clear, and I will be able to face whatever may happen that day. It makes me appreciate the simple things in life a lot more. Jogging in the park during early hours opens up opportunities to see different scenes and portraits and open my mind to a new perspective. Entering the park, a slight breeze rustles the leaves making them fall to the solid ground one by one. Flowers are vast, and they conceal the freshly cut green grass.
The crisp summer air filled the local park, the sun burning down, everyone wanted some fresh air-the park was packed. A young couple lounging on the fresh grass having a barbecue, the juicy aroma of sausages floated through the park, making everyone hungry. Across from the couple parked precariously on an old patch of grass was an ancient ice-cream van. The old, decrepit van had been in the family for years, paint peeling, bodywork rusting, the ice-cream van was fit for the dump, but as if transfixed, everyone in the local park was swarming to the van, tired parents, bored teenagers-everyone needed some refreshment. The ice-cream van driver a sweaty OAP, looking worn and fed up, his eyes scanning the crowd, hoping for some refuge from the swarm of impatient customer.
People give really good comments on the restaurant which shows that the staff keep their customers happy. This made me really hungry and so, I bought chips and a burger. You can find different kinds of colourful birds such as: green parrots, colourful parrots, normal bird, etc. Children's' playground is built soft so that if someone falls down, they won't get a severe bruise. Teenagers were running on the grassy land, kicking the ball all over the place, trying to be a professional footballer. Middle It is a paradise on the earth because mostly, you don't find such good parks in London because it is all polluted there.
The clouds in the sky create a nice cool blanket from the hot sun. The sound from the cars and the people create a nice little harmony that one could easily lay down and relax to. Not too far off in the distance I see the old softball stadium. I can also see the playground, and the muddy path that the runners take. Now, the clouds are breaking and shinning just a hint of sun into this wonderful picture. The temperature is one that is dreamed of on the hottest and the coldest days. It is not to hot, and it is definitely not to cold.
A Day at Memorial Park As I take my first steps into the fresh cut field I feel the squishy wet grass and instantly think of the large blanket I’ve brought with me, thankful I have it to sit on. I find a shady damp spot under a lively apple tree. I start to take in all my surroundings, noticing many things going on in my small area. I acknowledge that even in such a small park every area has its own activities happening. As I take the area in I notice how lively the field is even with no one running through it, see how loved and acknowledged the playground is by people of all ages, and how the trees surrounding the area have made it their home.
Living in the city is hard, even for those who were born in the industrialized environment of crowded streets, huge supermarkets, crammed subways, and polluting factories. I was born and raised in Dallas, so I know first-hand about heavy traffic and five-level interchange roads. However, before I moved to New York City, I was apparently not well-prepared for surviving in the Big Apple. I love NYC, but sometimes it becomes too much, and I have to escape from the noise to free my mind from all the routine worries, to clear my thoughts, and remind myself that despite how difficult and challenging life can get, I still have to enjoy the road along the way to success while achieving my dreams. Everyone needs to take a break from the crazy pace of NYC lifestyle, once in a while.
